The reality of animal agriculture is often concealed behind carefully curated narratives of tradition, necessity, and humane treatment. Investigations aim to uncover the truth that industries try to hide, revealing the harsh conditions animals endure in farms and slaughterhouses.
Over the years, I have visited over 60 dairy farms across different regions of India, documenting the grim reality of this widely accepted industry. From the cramped, unhygienic conditions to the relentless cycle of exploitation, these investigations have exposed the suffering behind milk production—where calves are separated from their mothers, and cows are repeatedly impregnated to sustain milk yields. Similarly, investigations in poultry farms have revealed chickens crammed into wire cages, deprived of basic comfort, and bred to grow unnaturally large in minimal time.
Carrying out this work often involves entering difficult and unsafe environments, with conditions that are both physically challenging and emotionally distressing. Yet these efforts are crucial to exposing what remains hidden from public view. The powerful visuals captured during these investigations are turned into content that informs and challenges people to rethink their choices.
By revealing these uncomfortable truths, the goal is to break the cycle of ignorance that allows such practices to continue and inspire people to make informed, compassionate decisions.
